Derek McAfee
Renowned and highly respected for his landscape and
wildlife pencil sketches along with high profile sports portraits,
among them being George Best, Willie John McBride, Gareth
Edwards and Denis Law.
Derek moved into Oil painting in 2007 drawing
inspiration for his work from the songs of Irish Rock band Thin Lizzy
and the lyrics of their late lead singer Phil Lynott. This
has resulted in a superb series of works that appeals to a wide
audience and his work is being snapped up very quickly by those
